While that piece is certainly must-have, what truly stood out was in the details; whether tie-dye overalls, sheer wrap dress or Levi’s collaboration — these were pieces which really shone due to craftsmanship and design.

Davis and Randolph also explored more utilitarian pieces within their oeuvre. Drawing upon traditional American materials like brown houndstooth wool and red nylon, Davis and Randolph created fashion classics rooted in Black women’s experience.

A collection that defies gender lines has resulted in bold and daring pieces like dresses made out of old knitwear trimmed with crystal beading, as well as short zip-front dresses made from an oversize jacket. Two standout designs include these gems.
